Wakatoon is a company that developed an app featuring interactive animated stories for children. The app allows kids to draw an object on paper in response to a prompt from a character. They then take a photo of their drawing, which is detected, cut out, and integrated into the story using Wakatoon’s proprietary technology.
Over several years, I led the art direction, creating a playful and impactful visual identity deployed across multiple print and digital platforms: mobile app (design and UX/UI), motion design tutorials, marketing materials, business cards, event scenography, and more.
As an illustrator, I also created numerous artworks in a variety of styles for several of their animated stories.
